Chester J. Glen, 90, husband of Alice “Pearl” Glen, died on Saturday, May 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Meriden on November 14, 1927, he was the son of the late Bernice and Roman Glen. Chester owned and ran Kitchens by Glen for over fifty years prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by one daughter, Lorri-Ann Glen; two sons, David and Jeffrey Glen; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Eleanor Kopp; one brother, Eugene Glen and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine K. Glen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden. Burial with military honors will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 to 11 prior to the service
