Theresa Yvonne Brown, 86, wife of the late Richard E. Brown Sr., passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at LiveWell Dementia Care Community after a long illness.

Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on December 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Adelarde Antonia and Simone (Laverieré) Courchesne. She had resided in Meriden and attended Nicolet High School in Quebec, Canada, and Waterbury Catholic High School. Mrs. Brown was employed by AMF Cuno Division until her retirement and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Meriden.
She is survived by her daughter, Carlene Cortellino and her husband Robert; her four sons, Joseph Gagnon and his wife Cora, Michael Gagnon and his wife Roberta, David Gagnon and Keith Gagnon; her grandchildren, Christie Cortellino Chipelo, Robert Cortellino, Heather Colburn, Robert Gagnon, Candice Gagnon, Nicole Gagnon, David Gagnon, Nicholas Gagnon, Taylor Menck and Victoria Gagnon and great grandchildren, Juliana, Olivia and Luke Chipelo, Reese , Penelope and Willow Cortellino, Zachary Biggs, Trevor, Alyssa and McClain Gagnon. She is also survived by a sister Jeanine Raby, a brother Edward Courchesne, and his wife Ardene and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Calabro and her brothers Herve and Jerome Courchesne. She is also survived by her step-daughter, Laura Vardalls and her husband, James and her step-son, Richard Brown Jr. and his wife Rosemary and their son, Richard Brown III and his wife Denise and their children, Danielle, Shawn, and Jessica.
Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden on Wednesday, October 14th from 4 to 7 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial to be held on Thursday, October 15th at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, St. Joseph Campus, 22 Goodwill Ave. Everyone is asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
