My brother Mickey passed away from this very infectious and horrible covid-19 virus which has affected so many people’s family lives as well our great country. With losing my brother as well as friends and their friends and family members…we need to consider doing the right things to help fight this virus, not so much for the ones that feel invincible, but for the ones that are vulnerable like my brother, your father, mother, grandfather & grandmother, sister, brother and most of all your children.

Some people would say my brother was rough around the edges, was loud and had no filter when he talked, and they would be correct! But those who only saw that, missed out on a person whose heart was as big as a mountain and as emotional and fragile as a baby. He would give you the shirt off his back, if he thought it would keep you warm, and the last bit of food, if he felt it would satisfy your hunger.

He had no education and by many, would be considered illiterate. He was a meat cutter by trade and in many ways had a self-made college degree. He was an electrician, plumber, carpenter, and a welder. He was an auto-body man and a mechanic, a trash collector, dumpster diver and he took care of lawns. He was a man with many flaws as we all have, but he was a man who cared about people. He loved his family and struggled on how to help them, and the way he did at times, made thing worse which broke his heart.
He struggled in life fighting alcoholism (which he was over 30 years sober), lost his loving wife Martha, a son Scott, a Brother Joe, both parents and a loving partner Louise. The last few years he had many health issues, in and out of hospitals until the last trip when the covid-19 got him. I’ll miss you brother more then you’ll ever know, miss hearing some of your crazy stories and the stupid things we used to do growing-up as brothers, as friends. I remember hearing people say about how you would brag about me, the things that I accomplished and how I turned out in life. The real truth is how much I admired you, how many different things you knew, how to do them, and you were always there if I needed you.

Peace be with you my Brother, say hello to your wife Martha, our Brother Joe and Sister Patricia who we never met, Dad & Mom and tell Sharon how much we miss and love her.

Love you……….Angie

Mike you have always been there for us. You have been through so much and were such a fighter. We never expected that the Coronavirus would take our loved one away. We wish that we could have seen you one more time to tell you how much we loved you. To have been able to hold your hand and let you know that it was ok to go. We will miss your loving words in your oh so gruff way. Most of all we will miss that impish grin that always left us laughing and feeling that we were loved!
Love always ♥️ Dana & Rose

Angie, I am sorry I never met your brother Michael, it is hard to lose a love one. May he rest in peace and may your family have the strength to get through this trying time. Living in Meriden I remember you living on North spring st. and we went to John Berry together. I will pray for Michael, you and the family, Les Zimmer

I am so sadden about mikes passing. I loved that guy and loved talking to him about everything. I knew Mike for years. He always had a big smile on his face and loved to talk about his brother Angie. We talked about his diabetes a lot and compared our health issues with our knees, lol I always bumped into him and Louise ( mini) dumpster diving or tag sales. Mike was a story teller and always had a story to tell. It’s funny how we knew each other as he was always in my life from being young when he lived on spring street , being my 2nd family’s brother - in - law the Smith family and then partners with Louise who I had known forever. You will be missed Mike. I’ll never ever forget you . RIP MY FRIEND love you ,Lori Paresi Rouleau
