Obituary

Mary Louise (Snow) Mosher, 92, wife of the late C. Eugene Mosher, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Born in Meriden on November 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Glover A. and Marion B. Snow.

Mary Louise was a lifelong Meriden resident. who graduated from Smith College and later earned a master's degree in Spanish from Central Connecticut State University.

She served on various Meriden community Boards, including the YMCA. She was the first female member of the Inland Wetland Commission, a member of the College Club and an ardent supporter of the Meriden Public Library. Her interests included tennis, skiing and golf; she was extremely proud of her two holes in one! She also was known as an excellent cook and was a devoted Red Sox fan.

Mary Louise is survived by her two sons, Benjamin Mosher and his wife Cathryn Gunther and Adam Mosher. She also leaves three grandchildren, Graham, Isabel and Alistair Mosher. Mrs. Mosher was predeceased by her sister Margaretta Harpham who was also born and raised in Meriden.

All services are private. Should friends desire, contributions in her memory may be made to the Meriden Public Library, 105 Miller St, Meriden, CT 06450 or to the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd S #4b, Southington, CT 06489.
