Paulina “Paguie” Texidor, 68, wife of Eufemio Ortiz, died peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Hartford Hospital surranded by her loving family.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on June 22, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Alejandro Texidor and Maria M. Cintron. She was a longtime Meriden resident.
Paguie enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her husband Eufemio, she is survived by her three daughters; Maria C. Banks, Julia A. Velez and Ana M. Ortiz, her three sons; Eufemio Ortiz Jr., Jose A. Ortiz and Esteban Ortiz. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, three sisters, six brothers and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings; Maria I., Gabriel and Lelo Texidor.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden. A Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Walter Hubbard Chapel at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Rd., Meriden, CT 06451. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the cemetery chapel.
