Obituary

Jennifer “Jenna” (Gullo) St. Arnauld, 47, beloved wife of Eric St. Arnauld, passed away on September 21, 2019 surrounded by family at Yale New Haven Hospital due to complications following a long recovery from a heart transplant.

Born in Meriden, CT on July 11, 1972, she was the daughter of the late James and Sheila Gullo. She resided in Wolcott, CT and was a graduate of Platt High School in Meriden.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Jenna would tell you the most important thing to her was family. From her endless support for everyone especially her brother, baking cakes with her mother, black friday shopping with her sister or doting on her nieces and nephews, it was clear that family was her top priority. With Jenna, you always knew you had a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen and arms to hold you.

Most of Jenna’s free time was spent watching her son do what he loves with her husband by her side. Whether on the lacrosse field or at the hockey rink Jenna could always be found cheering on not only her son but the rest of the ”Pride.” Those were some of the happiest times for her.

Another thing that Jenna loved was spending time at the beach, listening to the crashing of the waves with her feet in the sand brought her a sense of peace with the traditional stop to Lenny and Joes on the way home.

Jenna was blessed to share her life with her loving and devoted husband Eric for the past 31 years. Jenna was the proud mother of Evan St. Arnauld. She is also survived by her brother, James Gullo and his wife Tammy. Siblings, Jaime Moran and her husband Fred and Adam St. Arnauld and his wife Lesley. She was loved by all of her nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Alyssa, Dylan, Addison, Jaxton, Jessa, Alyssa and Jessica . She also leaves behind in-laws, Norman and Kathy St. Arnauld that loved her like their own daughter. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Clare Turner.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, St. Joseph Campus, 22 Goodwill Ave, Meriden. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 25th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jenna’s memory may be made to UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing) at www.unos.org/give.

Eric, Evan and the rest of the Gullo/St. Arnauld family, Mark and I are heartbroken about Jenna's passing. I'll never forget the countless hours of laughter and mischief during dance class at Miss Judie's, Christmas parties at your house, and Nascar. Jenna was one of the strongest women I know and a true fighter. I hope that she is at peace and is now watching over us. Her love for her family and friends will live on and be a comfort to all of us who loved her in return.

I will miss the knowledge of her words at the branch. She was a wonder, and was missed every time she needed to step away. She was an absolutely lovely woman who left a marvelous impression on me. We talked about work, and our similar health issues. She was a great ear, and was truly a blessing.

Jay, Eric, Evan-My heart aches beyond words. The memories and laughs I shared with Jen will never be forgotten. May your memories get you through this difficult time. She truly was an angle walking on earth and now is watching over all of us. Whenever I smell a cake baking and hear Bon Jovi on the radio I will know she is with me. Always and Forever in my heart.-Sharon Dubay(Forte)
