Condolence: I had the honor of knowing Ed and serving in his administration when he was the Governor of the New England District of Kiwanis. I was his International Foundation Chair and was proud to be part of his Team. My deepest condolence to Elaine and the Murphy family.
We are so saddened to learn of the passing of Ed. He was such a good man and his presence will be greatly missed. We are out of town with eye surgery for Ellie and not able to make services. Know though you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Condolence: Ed was a good friend at Northeastern, and for the countless years since.
A true American proud to serve with a sense of purpose.
Our fondest memories will remain in our hearts as he was loved by all.
His wry smile was his signature, and what you looked for.
A wonderful sense of humor, along with a caring heart kept him in our minds and thoughts over the many years.
Rest easy friend in the Cloak of God, you will be missed.
Condolence: Dear Elaine and Family...my deepest sympathy and condolences.
As a former Mayor and elected official, I knew and worked closely with Ed, as Director of Finance, for over 20 years. He was invaluable to me: dedicated and committed to the City of Meriden; reliable and dependable in the most difficult of times; an unmatched work ethic; all of these traits made him among my most resilient and persevering team members.
But above all, Ed was a genuinely good person, someone who gave all he could to whomever and whenever he could; the kind that doesn't come along very often. While I have lost a good friend, the City of Meriden has lost one of its finest citizens. Rest in peace, Ed...
Condolence: A dad's best legacy is often seen in the strength and grace he imparts to his daughter. You are a beautiful, talented, and gracious tribute to your father. May God's love and peace surround you and your family through these difficult days. All our love, Brigid and David
Condolence: Dear LeAnn and family -
I'm sad to hear about your Dad's passing. I'm pretty sure I met him at some point and thought "What a great guy"! Your and your children's wonderful memories are a powerful legacy.
