Robert Henry Bieluczyk, 89, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Midstate Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Meriden on April 25, 1929, he was the son of the late Walter and Anna (Kusek) Bieluczyk and had graduated from Wilcox Technical School. Mr. Bieluczyk was employed by Pratt & Whitney as an inspector for thirty years. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Army. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. Mr. Bieluczyk was an avid Yankees fan.
He is survived by four nieces, Elizabeth Tomczuk, Christine Pawlik, Patricia Hewitt and Barbara Angiletta and three nephews, Robert Stryjewski, Mark Adams and Richard Adams. He was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden and at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial with military honors will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065 or to the St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
