Potenza Cifone, wife of the late Mattia Cifone, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Meadow Mills Memory Care in Hamden, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 20, 1934 in Naples, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine Laurenza
She is survived by two daughters, Josephine Sita and Annamarie Pelcher and her husband John, one son, Victor Cifone; four grandchildren, Roseanne, Cristina, Amanda and Kyle and four great grandchildren, Hunter, Mia, Devon and Max
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Campus, 109 Goodwill Ave. Meriden. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends and relatives may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home 88 East Main St. Meriden, on Friday, January 5th from 4 to 7 pm.
