MaryAnn Quinn, 75, wife of Richard L. Quinn, died on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Meriden on February 4, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rena (LaBlanc) Ceruti. MaryAnn attended Maloney High School and was employed by Noack’s Meat Market for over 20 years. Mrs. Quinn was an avid golfer as a member of the Hunter’s Golf Club and enjoyed crafts, scrap booking and playing Trivia.
Besides her husband of 55 years, she is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Sokolowski and her husband Thomas, of Meriden and Lori Murphy and her husband Dennis, of Middlefield; her six grandchildren, Jeremy, Isobel, Brandon, Alex, Justin and Erica, who she raised as one of her own daughters and four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Callie, Autumn and Sebastian. She also survived by her two sisters, Donna Impronto and Beverly Jacques, her brother Jimmy Ceruti, many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Arthur. She was predeceased by two daughters, Cheryl Quinn and CindyAnn Quinn and her sister Cary Dewey.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 10:00am at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 15th from 4 to 7:00 pm. For online condolences please visit www.jferryfh.com.
