Christine Moore, 98, wife of the late Robert Moore Sr., died on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at her home after a brief illness.
Born in Waterbury on January 20, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John Tsaconas and Julia Banks. She had resided in New Haven for many years and graduated from St. Mary High School of East Hartford. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Church in North Haven.
Mrs. Moore is survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Robert Moore Sr., she was predeceased by her son Robert E. Moore, her brother John Tsaconas and her twin sister Agnes Schwink.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center St., Meriden. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. There are no calling hours. The John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450 is entrusted with the arrangements.
