Following graduation from Georgetown Prep in Washington, DC, Bill furthered his education earning his undergraduate degree at Christ the King Seminary and earned his Master’s degree at Fairfield University in Connecticut. Following his military service, Bill spent his professional career at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as a Contracts Compliance Manager. He loved family events including going on beach trips, cheering on his children at their athletic events, and visiting extended family members. He also loved sweets, especially when sharing them with his friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Jackie; four loving children, Joe Ferry of Charlotte, Maria Ferry Oppegard (Greg) of Newport Coast, California, Anna Ferry Scott (Scotty) of Terre Haute, Indiana and Bill Ferry Jr (Katie); and 11 beloved grandchildren, Madeline and Matthew Oppegard; Adam, Ryan, Gregory, Caitlyn, Ava and Caroline Scott; Will, Sam and Jack Ferry.
