Gloria A. Dominello, 87, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born in Meriden on December 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore P. and Theresa (Barillaro) Dominello. She had resided in Meriden for her entire life, attended local schools and was a graduate of Meriden High School.
Miss Dominello was employed by First National Stores for many years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. She loved to spend time with her extended family.
She is survived by one sister, Mafalda Summers, her twin brother, Matthew C. Dominello Sr., and one brother-in-law, Virgilio Canalia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters including George C. Dominello, Sr., Vincent T. Dominello, Yolanda Canalia, Salvatore J. Dominello and Lucille Dominello.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels, Mt. Carmel Campus, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden. Everyone is asked to gather directly at the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden on Friday December 8th from 5 to 7 p.m.
