Monserrate “Monse” Pacheco, 95, wife of the late Encarnacion Pacheco passed away on May 13, 2017 in Brandon, FL. Born in Puerto Rico on April 29, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joaquin Torres and Ramona Mercado. Monserrate resided in Meriden for over 30 years. She was a loving Mother and homemaker. Mrs. Pacheco was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Miriam Correa, Evelyn Melendez and her husband Hector and Annette Lorenzo and her husband Aristito; her son, Milton Pacheco and his wife Aida; nine grandchildren, Milton Jr., Sonny, Stevie, Michelle, Joanne, Jennifer, Aristito Jr., Anthony and Alexander; eleven great-grandchildren, Leanna, Julian, Matthew, Baby Pacheco, Christian, Jessica, Cameron, Tyler, Connor, Jayce and Jordan and her sister. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Monserrate was predeceased by her son, Encarnacion Pacheco Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Saturday, May 20th at 2 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06450. Burial will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
