Obituary for Shirley A. Kiniry
Shirley A. Kiniry, 75, beloved wife of John F. Kiniry, died on Friday, April 28, 2017 at home. Shirley and John were married for 50 years. Born in Massena, New York on December 21, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Carson and Erma Smith Sharlow. She had resided in Meriden for 51 years. She graduated from Massena High School. Mrs. Kiniry was employed at Stanley Judd in Wallingford at one time. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and enjoyed her home.
Besides her loving husband John, she is survived by her three sisters, Susan Hall, Sandra Wajda and Sharon Walker; a brother, Jack Sharlow; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary and Gene Robidoux. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including her goddaughter, Michelle Fazzolari. She was predeceased by three brothers, Richard, Paul and James Sharlow.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Ave, Meriden, CT, 06451. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St, Meriden, CT, 06450 on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt.
