Rosalia Beeman, 93, beloved wife of the late Burton J. Beeman, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2017. Born in Cheshire, Ct, she attended Cheshire and Meriden schools. She was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for many years before retiring. She was a member of Mary Our Queen Church in Plantsville, CT since its inception and the Women’s Guild. Mrs. Beeman belonged to the Meriden Arts and Crafts for many years and enjoyed water color painting which she shared with her family whom was most important to her. Sharing meals and holidays with all of them was very important to her. She loved to garden, bake and sew and was famous for her pies and cakes.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Chludzinski, and her husband, Donald; her son, Burton, and his wife, Cherie; her daughter-in-law, Marcia Beeman; six grandchildren, Robert, Jeffrey and Scott Beeman, Dawn Chludzinski, Lindsey and Zachary Beeman; ten great-grandchildren, Kevin, Caitlin, Brian, Isabel, Noah, Ella, Camryn, Abigail, Zoe and Addison; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Burton; her son, Deacon Robert Beeman; her sisters, Mary Burdacki and Esther Berkmoes; and her brother, Theodore Tycz.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Wednesday, April 19th at 10:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT and at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Southington, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Meriden. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning prior to the Mass from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489, or the Hospital of Saint Raphael, 1450 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511.
